Dr.Sadikhov at UFAZ seminar
On April 26 2018, Dr. Sadikhov, a young a roboticist, aerospace engineer, mathematician, autonomous driving pioneer & entrepreneur became a guest lecturer (open to all) at UFAZ.
Teymur received his B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, where he was the only student in the school's history to graduate with 4.0 GPA. He received his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of California San Diego, and M.S. in Mathematics and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering - Robotics & Control from Georgia Institute of Technology. Previously, he worked as a Principal Engineer - Planning, Routing & Control Lead at an autonomous driving startup in Silicon Valley, as a Senior Engineer in Autonomous Driving Division at the Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, in Sunnyvale, California, and as a robotics researcher in the Robotics Group at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
In his lecture at UFAZ, Teymur spoke largely about autonomous driving and artificial intelligence as one of the leading young world experts in this areas. To make it more interactive, Teymur showed some videos from his work time at Mercedes-Benz, including self-driving cards and planes. He also showed his own start-up projects, which served as a great motivation source for the students who are already working on their own start-up ideas at UFAZ and ASOIU.
