On August 26, 2021, the representatives of Baker Hughes, one of the world's largest energy technology company, paid visit to UFAZ.

Baker Hughes Geoscience and Petroleum Engineer Alexandra Khramtseva, OFS HR Director of Russia Caspian Veronika Bubenok, Regional HR Director Nargiz Muradova, UFAZ Secretary-General Elizaveta Bydanova, Head of Education Department Latifa Nasibova, and Oil and Gas Engineering Coordinator Fidan Aslanzade, made a tour of UFAZ premises and discussed cooperation experience between UFAZ and Baker Hughes since 2019. 

Positively impressed by the premises and lab infrastructure of the university, guests expressed their interest in supporting the further development of the collaboration. Several areas, including internship possibilities, as well as interdisciplinary projects at both bachelor and master’s level were discussed during the meeting.
