On May 1-3, 2020, Azerbaijan Technical University and OSTIM Technical University (Turkey) in partnership with Innoland Incubation and Acceleration Center and the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan initiated the Virtual Hackathon 2020. 

During the 48 hour hackathon, mentors assisted the teams on the topics of health, education, entertainment and social issues via Zoom and Slack. 

Winning teams were announced during the live facebook session of Virtual Hackathon. 

UFAZ Team under captaincy of UFAZ second-year Computer Science student Amina Hajiyeva won the third place with their Academy Azerbaijan project. 

Academy Azerbaijan is an educational portal intended for the virtual communication of students and teachers. Platform is expected to launch after the quarantine.  

To recall, all three winning teams received 3-month mentorship support from Innoland Incubation and Acceleration Center, and many other rewards.
