UFAZ participated in the 13th Azerbaijan International Education Fair

On October 10-12, 2019, Baku Expo Center hosted the 13th Azerbaijan International Education Exhibition, organized with the official support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. French-Azerbaijani University - UFAZ Administration and students represented its information stand, conducted comprehensive presentations and engaged in B2B meetings with local school and company representatives for three days.

UFAZ students - Nofel Aghayarli from Oil and Gas Engineering, Atifa Aghazada and Amina Hajiyeva from Computer Science, created a small Physics Lab at the stand which attracted a lot of young future engineers and raised awareness about the importance of manipulations and experimentations in Sciences. Participants also watched an informative video clip about UFAZ new scientific laboratories and received insights on educational opportunities provided by the University. UFAZ indeed pays a lot of attention to the practical sessions in laboratories in physics and chemistry conducted jointly by Azerbaijani and French Professors.

Amongst others, the Minister of Education HE Jeyhun Bayramov, the Head of the Humanitarian Policy Department at the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Farah Aliyeva, the Minister of Education of Turkey HE Ziya Selcuk, as well as representatives of various educational institutions, attended the official opening ceremony.


To recall, Germany, Belarus, Czech Republic, Iran, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and other countries were represented by various university delegations who introduced to the participants various opportunities and conditions for studying abroad, along with 44 educational institutions of Azerbaijan.

For the first time, the Delegation of the European Union in Azerbaijan participated in the exhibition, at a multinational stand that included embassies and universities from countries such as Austria, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, and Sweden.
