UFAZ TensorScience team took part in the European Space Week 2018

2018-12-24

On December 3-6 2018, UFAZ TensorScience team took part in the European Space Week 2018, held in Marseille (France), invited by the European GNSS Agency (GSA).

The 5 team members are UFAZ third-year Geophysics students Tofiq Nazarbayov, Malik Sheyxli, Nargiz Mammadova, third-year Chemical Engineering student Maryam Sideifzada, and third-year Architecture student of AUAC Leyla Mehdiyeva. They were accompanied in Marseille by UFAZ General Secretary, Charlotte Payen.

TensorScience team presented their “Arteve” project during the “Interconnectivity” panel taking place in the frame of the European Space Week - the European international conference. This project was built based on their Geospinner project presented during ActInSpace international innovation contest held in 2018 for the first time in Azerbaijan, and hosted by UFAZ on May 25-26.

The European Space Week conference lasted for 5 days and gathered around 800 participants and 30 speakers from all around the world. TensorScience team members were the youngest of all speakers and the only representatives of Azerbajian during this international conference.

The conference participants welcomed the demo version of Arteve startup project, with interest and expressed their wishes of success for the further development of Arteve.

Returning home to Baku, the next goal of the team is to create a phone application version of their project. Team members, thus, plan to present their project to other UFAZ students in the near future to develop as well as to attract users.

We wish best of luck to TensorScience team in their future plans!

artEve is based on scientific artificial neural network concept and basically is a machine learning technology.
