UFAZ student is going to study her master's degree at MIT

Laman Jalilova, a bachelor's student studying Chemical Engineering at the French-Azerbaijani University, was admitted to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the world's leading technology university, with a full scholarship.
During her studies at UFAZ, she won the 1st place at many local and international competitions. Congratulations to Laman on this occasion and we would like to share some of her achievements with you.
February 2016 - 2nd place at the "Scientists of Tomorrow" competition. (Project related to obtaining electricity from sea water).
April 2019 – 4th place at the French International Kangaroo Mathematics Competition. (1st place among girls).
May 2019 – winner of the BP Skills Refinery competition ("Transition to a Low-Carbon Economy" project).
June 2020 – 2nd place in the CanSat competition organized by Azercosmos.
November 2020 – National winner and international finalist of the ActInSpace international hackathon organized by the French National Center for Space Research (CNES) and the European Space Agency (ESA).
February 2021 - Winner of the UNDP (UNDP, UNFPA and UN Women) Gender Equality Hackathon.
September 2020 and 2021 - winner of the Mohsun bey Khanlarov scholarship founded by UFAZ.
December 2021 - 2nd place at the EdTech StartUp competition of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
December 2021 – 2nd place at the Baku Food Hackathon competition.
