We are proud to announce that "The Invincibles" team of third-year UFAZ students, all from Chemical Engineering speciality  - Aqil Idriszade, Ismayil Hasanzade, Laman Jalilova and Aydin Aliyev, won the 3rd place in the “ChemBowl” competition held by the Society of Petroleum Engineers of Baku Higher Oil School and Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.

64 students from BHOS, UFAZ, ASOIU, Indian Institute of Petroleum and Engineering, Gadjah Mada University (Indonesia), The Bandung Institute of Technology (Indonesia) competed through several rounds of questions related to chemical engineering that overall lasted for more than 7 hours.

Agil Idriszade, a team member, shared his impression of the event: 

“In the first round of 80 successive questions, having answered 60 of them correctly, we were the second in ranking among 16 teams. This elimination round was followed by the next type of competition where teams were competing in two. The questions were read and the team which had the correct answer had to buzz the button as fast as possible and say the answer. In total, we played four games in the second part of the competition and won three of them becoming the third-place winners of this international competition on Chemical Engineering.”
