UFAZ fourth-year Chemical Engineering student Suleyman Gafarli became the winner of the Student Scholarship program 2019-2020, launched on September 16, 2019 by “Azercell Telecom” LLC.

As a result of the multi-stage selection process, 28 students, including Suleyman have been awarded with the title “Azercell’s Scholars”. Along with receiving a monthly scholarship from Azercell until the end of his education at the university, Suleyman will also have the opportunity to increase his knowledge in telecommunication sphere, by participating in the company’s corporate events and training and having access to internship possibilities within the company.

In total 1750 applicants participated in two-stage selection procedure throughout the country and were assessed on the following criteria: academic knowledge, world view, interest and eagerness for science and education.

To recall, UFAZ fourth-year Computer Science student Irada Bunyatova was the winner of the Azercell Student Scholarship program of 2018-2019 academic year.
