On June 28, 2019, UFAZ Steering Committee held its fifth meeting at the University of Strasbourg (Unistra) with the participation of Unistra President Michel Deneken, ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Education Mukhtar Mammadov, Deputy Chief of Staff Yagub Piriyev, as well as UFAZ Coordinator Jean-Marc Planeix, UFAZ Director Vazeh Askarov and UFAZ Secretary General Charlotte Payen.

The French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs was also represented by Irène Ketoff, from the  department of Higher Education and Research, while the embassy of Azerbaijan in France was represented by Vagif Agayev, Cultural attaché.

The Committee discussed new trends and action plans for the next 2019/2020 academic year, the results of finals exams for Spring 2019 Semester and UFAZ global development strategy for 2020, including master degree proposals.
