UFAZ mathematics teacher defended her doctoral dissertation at the University of Strasbourg
On September 2, at 16:00, Ulviya Abdulkarimova, a teacher of mathematics at the French-Azerbaijani University and a doctoral student at the University of Strasbourg, defended her doctoral dissertation. The defense took place partly in person and partly online in Baku and Strasbourg.
Ulviya Abdulkarimova, who has been working as a teacher at UFAZ since 2016, was admitted to the doctoral degree at the University of Strasbourg in 2017. Her supervisor was Professor Pierre Collet, a computer science teacher and scientific expert at UFAZ. The topic of the doctoral dissertation was "SINUS-IT: an evolutionary approach to harmonic analysis".
According to the agreement between ASOIU and the University of Strasbourg, ASOIU and UFAZ teachers, as well as other young professionals from Azerbaijan, can study at the 3rd cycle of the study at the University of Strasbourg.
Javid Abdurrahim and Nizami Israfilov, selected by UFAZ scientific experts, have been pursuing their PhD studies at the University of Strasbourg since 2019 under this agreement.
Narinc Tagiyeva and Leyla Aliyeva, who work as laboratory assistants at UFAZ's scientific laboratories, were admitted to the doctoral degree at the University of Strasbourg this year.
