On October 6th, 2021, UFAZ Professors, Prof. in Chemical Engineering at Unistra and Head of UFAZ Physical Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Master programme Christophe Serra and Ass. Prof. in Chemistry at Unistra Dr. Maxime Florent, accompanied by Secretary General Elizaveta Bydanova, visited the Socar Polymer plant in Sumgait. Director of Socar Polymer, Mr. Fuad Ahmadov, representatives of Human Resources and other departments welcomed the guests. The team of Socar Polymer expressed very positive feedback on UFAZ students who were selected for corporate internship this year pointing to their capacity to learn new things, motivation, good level of digital skills, capacity to take initiative. Possibilities of further cooperation between UFAZ and Socar Polymer, including internships for UFAZ students at L3, M1 and M2 were discussed and the visit of the plant was organised.
