On June 3-9 2018, 14 UFAZ Professors will go through a special training organised and hosted at the University of Strasbourg (France), the French university piloting UFAZ together with the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

This week of training is meant for UFAZ Professors to further their understanding of the French Higher Education System and the teaching methods in Strasbourg University, which in return will positively impact overall education at UFAZ.

Futhermore during their stay at Strasbourg University, UFAZ Professors will have the opportunity to discover the scientific laboratories of Unistra, since a great importance is given to practical works in laboratories at Unistra and UFAZ.

UFAZ pedagogical team will get a chance to meet their French colleagues, and work together on the pedagogical approach and scientific content of the lectures at UFAZ. These links between teams in Baku and Strasbourg are also very important to develop in the future common Research projects between researchers of Unistra and UFAZ.

Prior to their departure, Rector of ASOIU Mustafa Babanli organised a meeting with all the UFAZ Professors leaving to France to underline the particular significance and importance of such exchange. 

This training week is organised by Strasbourg University with the financial support of Erasmus+ program.
