On September 16, 2022, the management of French-Azerbaijani University held a meeting with the teaching staff of the university at the beginning of the new academic year.

Opening the event, UFAZ Director Vazeh Askarov welcomed the faculty, and then the memory of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Republic of Azerbaijan was remembered by a minute of silence. At the same time, he congratulated the teachers who started their PhD studies.

Later, UFAZ Secretary General Elizaveta Bydanova informed the participants about the statistics and achievements of the university in the previous academic year and noted the new objectives and challenges awaiting UFAZ. New projects and initiatives in the direction of increasing the professionalism of local teachers were also discussed

Newly recruited teachers and expectations from teachers in the new academic year were also mentioned. Head of the Education Department Latifa Nasibova informed the teachers about the pedagogical changes. 

At the end of the event, the issues raised by the teachers were discussed and discussions were held in the direction of their solution.
