UFAZ organized bachelor admission exam for the academic year 2020/2021

On September 11 French-Azerbaijani University successfully organized the bachelor admission exam for the academic year of 2020-2021.

The exam was organized at the main building of UFAZ in accordance with the instructions by Ministry of Education and the rules of the special quarantine regime following necessary preventive measures such as social distancing and hygiene.

For its 5th edition of Bachelor’s Degree Program 366 of 372 initial applicants were approved for the examination stage. 137 of approved applicants are female and 229 are male. 

The top SEC score among applicants is 685,50 and the average SEC score is 584,53. 

Exam lasted 130 minutes and students answered multiple choice questions on the disciplines of  Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, general scientific knowledge and English language.

Exam results will be announced on September 13. Appeal of results will take place on September 14 at 10:00-13:00.


To recall, only the students that scored more than 500 points (on 700 points) during the examination by the State Examination Center (SEC) in group 1, can take part in the UFAZ admission exam organized and structured by the University of Strasbourg.

UFAZ entrance exam is available both in Azerbaijani and Russian languages, thus it is open for the high-school graduates of both Azerbaijani and Russian school departments.  

Depending on their admission results during UFAZ exam, students are offered governmental (120) or paying (40) basis places at UFAZ on the following specialties: Computer Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Geophysics and Geological Engineering, and Oil and Gas Engineering.

Students who do not pass the UFAZ entrance exam still have the right to apply to other higher educational institutions in Azerbaijan.  This also applies to applicants who are admitted to UFAZ but do not accept the academic offer. Applicants who pass the exam and register within the deadlines will not be able to participate in the SEC placement.
