On 11^th of February, French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) arranged a meeting between Prof. Philippe Turek and prospective researchers to inform about the newly-established Research Department of UFAZ. The meeting started with a speech delivered by UFAZ’s Executive Director, Dr. Vazeh Asgarov, who emphasized the importance of the creation of the Research Department for both UFAZ and Azerbaijan as a whole. Following him, Prof. Turek delivered a presentation on the conducting of a research, how to increase the research ability of UFAZ, managing the budget for a scientific research, and how important the team work is for conducting a research. He also extensively informed the audience about the very prerequisites for collaboration between young researchers and UFAZ’s Research Department. In the meeting, UFAZ’s Research Department Roadmap was widely discussed. Permanent and local teachers of UFAZ also took part in this meeting.

            Prof. Philippe Turek recently started his new position at UFAZ as Senior Scientist to launch and lead the Research Department of UFAZ.
