UFAZ held International Education Week 2018

During four days from November 12 to November 16, UFAZ Educational Department organized the first edition of the International Education Week (IEW).

International Education Week (IEW) is the joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education. It takes places during the 3rd week of November every year globally and aims at promoting benefits of international education and exchange programs.
UFAZ students enjoyed variety of events organized by our student specialists, including the Social Innovation Lab information session by Azercosmos and  Social Innovation Laba learn&fun day through a movie evening at the Big Lecture Hall, a Q&A session on social network pages where anyone could address questions and receive the answers right away, and last but not least presentations from representatives of American and British Council.
 
Leyla Hamidova from Education USA and Jeremy Little, the US Council, provided information on education opportunities in the US including basic information on UGRAD program, visa requirements and Work and Travel program, while British Council representatives – Javid Gulusoy (Exams Coordinator) and Flora Poladova (Project Manager) elaborated on IELTS exam, free online English language resources and other opportunities provided by their organization.
