From June 9 to 11, the Executive Director of the French-Azerbaijani University, Vazeh Askarov, was on a business trip to Strasbourg, France. During the visit, he held a number of meetings at the University of Strasbourg.
In the meeting with Professor Jean-Paul Meyer, Dean of the Faculty of Linguistics of the University of Strasbourg, Vazeh Askarov gave extensive and detailed information about UFAZ and the future prospects of the university were discussed. Another meeting was with Michaël Gutnic, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of the University. In that meeting, education and future perspectives at UFAZ were discussed.
Vazeh Askarov also met with Bernard Lickel, the Director of the Department of Integration into the Career and Work - Espace Avenir - of the University of Strasbourg and David Barbier, the Leading Specialist of the department. The Executive Director of the Azerbaijani Students and Alumni Platform Rafael Hajibayli and few members of ASAP also participated in the last meeting. The parties got familiarized with the career center of the University of Strasbourg and discussed issues of cooperation.
On June 10, Vazeh Askarov participated in the event called "Heydar Aliyev's legacy - a historical review of relations between Azerbaijan and the Council of Europe" organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in France, Permanent Representation of Azerbaijan to the Council of Europe, ASAP and Azerbaijan-France Alumni Association.
