On December 10, French-Azerbaijani University organized a competition dedicated to Earth Science with the participation of high school students.

Students of School N. 23 named after Tahir Hasanov, Modern Education Complex named after Heydar Aliyev and Baku Modern School competed against each other.

UFAZ Director Vazeh Asgarov and Secretary General Elizaveta Bydanova greeted students and the supervisors accompanying them and gave a comprehensive information about the university. Later students visited UFAZ Chemistry and Physics laboratories and observed some experiments.

The competition was organized by UFAZ Earth Science clube with the purpose of increasing high school students’ interest in the subject. The club plays an active role in organizing extracurricular activities and field trips at the university. Students of Modern Education Complex named after Heydar Aliyev won 1st place in a 3-round competition.

Both winning and participating teams were rewarded with certificates and gifts. Winning team will also be invited to the Earth Science Mixer event to be organized at UFAZ on December 17, as well as the field trip to be organized in 2022.
