UFAZ students, faculty and administration holding a minute of silence to honor Khojaly tragedy and its victims

On February 26, 2019, UFAZ students, faculty and administration commemorated the 27th anniversary of Khokaly Massacre. They held a minute of silence to honor Khojaly tragedy and its victims.

Speaking of the heavy consequences of the Khojaly tragedy, UFAZ Director Vazeh Askarov noted that the Khojaly massacre is one of the most grievous and tragic events of the 20th century. He shared the history of the genocide and the statistics of Azerbaijani citizens who had been killed, injured, and taken hostage during the tragic night of 25-26 February 1992.

The event participants watched videos related to the Khojaly genocide.
