On March 27, 2019, French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) hosted a presentation of TOM (Tikkun Olam Makers), a joint startup project of the Embassy of Israel and Barama Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of “Azercell Telecom” LLC.

Representatives of Barama Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, Irada Mammadova and Fidan Tofidi conducted a comprehensive presentation on TOM project to UFAZ Students.

TOM is the global movement of communities connecting “makers”, designers, developers and engineers with “need-knowers” to develop technological solutions for everyday challenges of people with special needs. The teams will have approximately 1 month for creating a solution for the challenges and “SCHWATECH” LLC will support them during the project. The final products of the teams will be presented after the TOM event and all the ideas will be open for public use.
