A seminar on "Directional Drilling" was held at UFAZ.

On September 10, Farhad Gadimov, Schlumberger's directional drilling engineer, held a seminar on "Directional Drilling" at the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) operating under the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry (ASOIU).

Farhad Gadimov is currently working on one of Schlumberger's projects in Saudi Arabia. During the seminar, he informed the students about the technology of directional drilling in the modern oil industry and answered their questions.

The seminar was initiated by the Geophysical Society of UFAZ and ASOIU students.
