Commemoration Day for Great Patriotic War held at UFAZ

On September 27, an event on the occasion of Commemoration Day was held at the Azerbaijan-French University operating under the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry.

At 12:00, the memory of our martyrs and civilians who lost their lives in the 44-day war was commemorated with a minute of silence. Afterwards, UFAZ Executive Director Vazeh Askarov recalled the days of the Great Patriotic War and reminded how the citizens of the country were united as a fist. "Every member of the UFAZ family was anxiously waiting for news from the front in those days". The Azerbaijani people have won our just war" Vazeh Askarov said. "Now there is a lot of work to be done before us and every student can contribute to this work".

The event continued with a video on the Day of Commemoration, and at the end the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.
