On July 26, a meeting with Runar Nygaard, Director of the School of Oil and Geology at the University of Oklahoma was held at the French-Azerbaijan University (UFAZ).

Rafig Jamalov, Azerbaijan State Oil and Gas University (ASOIU) Vice-Rector for International Relations, Rauf Aliyarov, Director of the Oil, Gas, Geotechnological Problems and Chemistry Research Institute of ASOIU, Elman Isgandarov, Dean of ASOIU Faculty of Oil and Gas Engineering, Vazeh Askerov, Executive Director of UFAZ, Ramina Murshudova, Education Specialist at the US Embassy in Azerbaijan, and Latifa Nasibova, Head of the UFAZ Education Department, attended.

Vazeh Askerov briefed the guests about ASOIU and UFAZ. He acquainted the guests with the history of the university and its fields of study.

Noting that he visited Azerbaijan within the framework of the academic cooperation project between Ganja State Agrarian University and the University of Oklahoma, Runar Nygaard said that the UFAZ experience would be useful for them in this direction. Prospects for future cooperation between the University of Oklahoma and ADNSU were also discussed at the meeting.
