On May 3 2018, second-year Chemical Engineering students together with UFAZ administration member visited the Baku Oil Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev. The HR specialist took the students to the office tour starting with the Safety instruction office, where the students were introduced to the safety instructions within the Refinery. They also visited the initial refinery installations and were explained the process of refinery of the crude petroleum (calcining and desalting processes). Finally, students took a closer look at the catalytic cracking installation as well as coking and catalytic reforming installations. Such visits are planned for all the UFAZ students as part of their career development path.
