On September 24, 2019, UFAZ held another meeting in the framework of new collaborations regarding the signing of prospective MOUs. This time, it is another member of the Big Four accounting firms - the KPMG. KPMG has been working in Azerbaijan since 1998, and the essential principle has always been to use the network's global intellectual capital, combined with the practical experience of the local professionals.

During the meeting with the HR representatives Aydan Badalova and Asiya Hagverdiyeva, UFAZ has explicitely talked about the needs of the University regarding internship program starting March 2020. KPMG is offering a wide range of guest lectures to the students including interview skills, stress and time management etc.

UFAZ Computer Science students will also have a chance to apply for the KPMG company test. Whoever passes the test will be admitted to the internship program and later on can apply for the full-time employment at KPMG.

KPMG in Azerbaijan provides audit, tax, legal and advisory services to a great number of the banks and financial institutions of the country, as well as to enterprises in the leading sectors of the economy such as construction, oil and gas, telecommunications, and the food industry.
