On February 23, 2022 UFAZ Academic Committee held its another meeting at the French-Azerbaijani University.

Co-chaired by UFAZ Scientific Expert, Unistra Vice-President for International Relations and Research Prof. Philippe Turek and ASOIU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Gasim Mammadov, the meeting attended Unistra Professor and UFAZ scientific expert on Computer Science Pierre Collet, Undergraduate Program Coordinator responsible from Geophysical Engineering Alessia Maggi, UFAZ Director, Vazeh Askerov, Secretary General Elizaveta Bydanova and Head of the Education Department Latifa Nasibova.

The Committee discussed the impact of the current pandemic on the 2021/2022 academic year and its teaching process and students, as well as new admission to the Master’s Programs, academic offers and research possibilities, as well as the non-academic issues for the next year.

The committee discussed the internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students in local and international companies, as well as in various laboratories in France, and assessed the cooperation of UFAZ with partner companies and research centers.

To recall,  the UFAZ Academic Committee is the executive body responsible for the study of science, education and scientific issues.

The Committee meets twice a year in Baku and Strasbourg to discuss administrative issues related to all pedagogical and academic activities.
