On October 11, UFAZ’s second year master students in Geosciences begun their new field trip in Lahij settlement of Ismayilli region.

A few days before the practical field trip, UFAZ Executive Director Vazeh Askerov, Head of Education Department Latifa Nasibova, Laboratory Assistant in Geosciences Kamal Bayramov, Head of Geotectonics and Regional Geology Department of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Talat Kangarli and Doctor of Philosophy in Geology Shafag Bayramova, UFAZ, Geology Coordinators Clara Jodry and Elshan Abdullayev, invited teachers from the University of Strasbourg Cecile Robin and Marc Jolivet visited the area and identified suitable areas for the students to practice.

Talat Kangarli, Shafag Bayramova, Clara Jodry, Elshan Abdullayev, Cecile Robin and Marc Jolivet will accompany the students during the internship process.

The practical field trip of UFAZ master students will last 5 days. The purpose of the program is to put into practice the scientific and theoretical knowledge acquired by the students. 15 UFAZ students take part in the field practice.
