French-Azerbaijani University announced its 2020/2021 admission results

On September 11 French-Azerbaijani University successfully organized the bachelor admission exam for the academic year of 2020-2021.

On September 13, UFAZ announced its exam results and on September 17 submitted the final list of admitted students.

- 366 applicants that gained more than  500  points (on 700 points) during the State Entrance Exam in  group 1 registered online (310 applications received in 2016, 427 in 2017, 522 in 2018 and 497 in 2019) ;

- 335 of them took part in the exam held on September 11 (290 applicants in 2016, 385 in 2017, 463 in 2018, and 455 in 2019);

- 146 students admitted to UFAZ for the 2020 / 2021 academic year (142 students in 2016, 145 in 2017,141 in 2018, and 139 in 2019);

- Number of newly admitted female and male candidates is 55 (37.6 %) and 91, respectively. (32.6 % in 2016, 23.4 % in 2017, 29.1% in 2018, and 22.3 % in 2019);

- The average SEC score amongst the admitted for current year is 589.2 (585 in 2016, 590.5 in 2017, 620.6 in 2018 and 602.5 in 2019), while 64 of newly admitted students received more than 600 / 700 SEC score; 

- 101 of the admitted candidates are high-school graduates of Azerbaijani school department, while 45 of them come from Russian school department.


Depending on their admission results during the UFAZ exam, each year, students are offered places either on governmental basis (120 places) or on paying basis (40 places). Admitted students will be studying in the following specialties: Geophysical-Geoscience Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Sciences and Oil and Gas Engineering.. Education is conducted in English language by both local and international academic staff.  Students receive two national diploma upon their graduation.
