On September 9, the newly appointed Counselor for Cultural Affair and Cooperation of the French Embassy in Azerbaijan and the Director of the French Institute at Azerbaijan Charles Denier visited the French-Azerbaijani University and had a meeting with UFAZ management.

UFAZ Director Vazeh Askarov, Secretary General Elizaveta Bydanova and Head of the Education Department Latifa Nasibova attended the meeting.

After getting acquainted with the main building of UFAZ, the counselor was provided detailed information about the university, educational process and the joint management with the University of Strasbourg.

Vazeh Askarov emphasized the fruitful cooperation between UFAZ and the French Embassy and communicated about the jointly implemented projects. Highlighting the contributions of French graduates in the public, social, cultural and scientific life of the country, Vazeh Askarov also noted the role of the French Alumni Azerbaijan Association of which he is the chairman. 

The meeting various issues of interest for the better organization of academic activities were also discussed .
