On October 9, the newly appointed Ambassador of France to Azerbaijan, HE Zacharie Gross, made his very first visit to UFAZ.

Welcomed by the Rector, Mustafa Babanli, and UFAZ administration, the French Ambassador first took a tour in UFAZ main building, followed by an extensive visit of UFAZ laboratory corpus situated on Dilara Aliyeva Street.

Positively impressed by the premises and infrastructure of the university, the Ambassador underlined the importance of UFAZ in the bilateral relations between France and Azerbaijan, and the renewed support of the French embassy to support its further development and outreach in the region.

Rector Mustafa Babanli conveyed his highest appreciation, and expressed to the new Ambassador his warm wishes of success in his new diplomatic assignment.
