On 3 June 2021, the Education Department of French-Azerbaijan University (UFAZ) held a meeting with the representatives of the Student Council and the managers of the undergraduate study programs of UFAZ.

During the meeting, many important topics have been discussed. The issues related to the students, the exams and possible events at UFAZ have also been raised. The Student’s Council representatives also drew attention to the study programs and current issues facing the UFAZ students.

Pierre Collet, Computer Science program manager, Alessia Maggi, Geophysics and Geological Engineering program manager, and Françoise Le Guen, Oil and Gas Engineering program manager also attended in the meeting and presented next academic year study plan and possible changes in the curriculum. Furthermore, the program managers explained the importance of different courses within the programs and the future perspectives for the students.

The Student Council is an internal body at UFAZ that deals with the issues related to the students and is in charge of maintaining and clearly defining the duties of student representation, organizing fair and transparent elections to lead the council on annual basis, promoting UFAZ student experience through the creation of different clubs and activities etc.
