Starting from December 3, 2020, representatives of Baker Hughes, international energy technology company, conducted a series of online technical sessions for UFAZ Geosciences Engineering and Oil & Gas Engineering students embedded in their curricula.

Both specialists from Baker Hughes, Well Integrity Discipline Leader Aleksandra Khramtseva (Russia Caspian) and Cementing Field Engineer Murad Hasanov (Azerbaijan) engaged in fruitful and constructive exchanges with UFAZ students and provided them with insights on various topics, including “Baker Hughes Technologies”, “Basics of Well Cementing Process”, “Wellbore Integrity” (cement evaluation and casing inspection), “Production Logging” which includes physics of measurements, flow regimes, PVT  analysis and job planning, and “Though-casing Formation Evaluation”
