On September 29, UFAZ students and their friends gathered in the fourth floor Library to cite the poems written by themselves or those by their favourite poets. It was an evening that united the biggest fans of world famous French, Russian, Azerbaijani, English poetry in one room.

The organizer of the event was an UFAZ student Aykhan Ibrahimov who also writes poems and who is planning to organise more evenings like these at the University.

We are sharing with you a little piece of Aykhan's poem:

Just look at the abundance
Of the ungiven flowers
Together with the promises
And oceans of dreams that are dead. 
With the masts that are dead
And drowned.
And thrown into the oven,
Where we used to burn,
Where the feelings were worn out.

What could possibly be better
Than two kissing lovers?
