Rector Mustafa Babanli held a meeting with French Senator Alain Houpert at UFAZ on April 30 2018. 

Two parties spoke about the successful development of bilateral relations between France and Azerbaijan specifically about the role of UFAZ in the enhancement of cooperation in the education sector. Rector Mustafa Babanli talked mainly about the admission process to UFAZ and the academic offer of the university. He underlined the great value of the educational exchange of experiences made for UFAZ, between ASOIU, University of Strasbourg and Rennes 1 University in technical and scientific programs.

The head of the France-Caucasus Friendship Group of the Senate of France, Seneator Alain Houpert stressed that Azerbaijan can further develop its potential not only in the oil&gas, but also in educational sector. He noted that the ties between the two countries will only serve their best to such development.
