On May 26 2018 UFAZ Steering Committee held its third meeting at the French-Azerbaijani University.

UFAZ Steering Commitee is co-chaired by ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli and Unistra President Michel Deneken.

Other voting members include Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Eduation,Mukhtar Mammadov and Deputy Chieff of Staff, Yagub Piriyev, as well as representative of the French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs.

Other participants were Vice-President for International Relations of the University of Strasbourg Irini Jacoberger, Dean of the Chemistry faculty and UFAZ scientific expert, Jean-Marc Planeix, UFAZ Coordinator Eckhart Hoetzel, Project officer Florent Baulieu, and International Relation officer, Aurelien Jordan. 

UFAZ representatives included Vazeh Asgarov (Director) and Charlotte Payen (Secretary General).

Steering Committee of UFAZ takes place twice a year to discuss all strategic and operational issues of UFAZ.
