On February 7, Vice-President of the Halliburton company for the Caspian region Graeme Taylor, and HR Business Partner Manager Vusala Akbarova visited the scientific laboratories of the French-Azerbaijani University.

UFAZ Director Vazeh Askarov, Secretary-General Elizaveta Bydanova, Adviser to Rector for Internationalization at ASOIU Latifa Nasibova welcomed the guests and provided them with detailed information about the history of UFAZ, educational process, research and cooperation in the scientific field. UFAZ Scientific Expert Yannick Hoarau also participated in the meeting.

Coordinator of the UFAZ Chemistry Program Maxime Florent, Laboratory Assistant in Chemistry Narinj Taghiyeva, and Coordinator of the Oil and Gas Program Fidan Aslanzada introduced the guests to the Chemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry and Physics laboratories and informed them about the laboratory infrastructures.

The parties discussed possible cooperation, internship and career opportunities for students.
