On September 17, 2019, UFAZ fourth-year Computer Science students, accompanied by UFAZ Administration, had their first visit to PASHA Bank Digital Lab in the frame of UFAZ Career Workshops Series.

PASHA Bank Digital Lab team - Senior HR Business Partner Afet Baghirova, Agile Coach of Digital Lab Shafa Karimova and Head of Digital Engineering Vusal Khalilov, delivered a structured introductory presentation about Agile working culture and methodologies of the first digital bank of Azerbaijan. “Agile methodologies help organizations to improve their performance across multiple dimensions, especially through software development,” stated Ms Karimova. By comparing traditional and digital lab, experts illustrated multiple significant differences in agile ways of working with products and process.

Later on, UFAZ students had an opportunity to receive an insight on lab activities and take a closer look at the working process of the one-of-a-kind digital lab in the country.

UFAZ students are also offered a unique opportunity to participate in the internship program of Pasha Bank and continue their career in one of the country's leading banks upon their graduation.

This session was designed together by PASHA Bank and UFAZ administration in order for the students to diverse their professional orientation and get familiar with one of the professional and industrial spheres active in Azerbaijan.
