On May 25, French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) held an Open Door Day for applicants and their parents regarding the admission to UFAZ bachelor programs for the 2023/2024 academic year.
Firstly, the guests had an opportunity to visit the Scientific Laboratories of the university. Candidates participated in various experiments at 7 labs accompanied by UFAZ teachers and laboratory assistants. Among participants, there were pupils, teachers and parents of Lachin N 1 school in Khirdalan city, Dunya school, Kaspi Lyceum and other schools.
UFAZ director Vazeh Askarov, and Secretary General Elizaveta Bydanova welcomed the guests and gave brief information about the university. Then Head of the Education Department Samra Shiriyeva provided the participants of the event with detailed information about the admission procedure and educational programs at UFAZ. UFAZ 4th year students Dilbar Aliyeva, Fidan Guliyeva, Alamdar Dashdamirov and President of UFAZ Student Council Emin Khalifayev also shared their experiences and impression of student life at the university.
Event wrapped up with a question and answer session.
Registration for the UFAZ bachelor's degree admission examination is planned for the beginning of June, and the admission exam is planned for the beginning of August. A total of 160 places are allocated for the bachelor's program for the academic year 2023/2024, and all places are on governmental basis (Computer Science - 60 places, Chemical Engineering - 35 places, Oil and Gas Engineering - 35 places, Geophysical Engineering - 30 places).
