On January 27, UFAZ Management had an online meeting with Regional Director of AUF ( Francophone University Agency) - Central and Eastern Europe Mohammed Ketata and Head of AUF National Bureau -Bulgarian Office Peter Topareff.

During the meeting both parties exchanged views on the current state of cooperation between UFAZ and AUF, the progress of work on the establishment of the Francophone Career Center at UFAZ with the support of AUF. It was also noted that the future activities of the center will open new opportunities for UFAZ teachers and students. UFAZ Director Vazeh Askerov expressed that 90 % of the work regarding the Francophone Career Center has been completed.

The center will play a special role in preparing UFAZ students for the labor market and will work to inform, educate, certify and pre-incubate students in the labor market.

Founded in 1961, AUF unites 1,007 universities from 119 countries. Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University and French-Azerbaijani University have been full members of the organization since 2019.
