UFAZ students are already engaged in different university activities as well as extra activities of their own. Here is another addition to the Clubs family - the UFAZ Drama Club introduced to our students on March 6 by the French Actress - Elsa Furtado from the Azerbaijani art collective "ADO Theatre-Collective".

Initially named "ODA", "ADO Theatre-Collective" was founded by Elmin Badalov on July 15, 2013. It was the first independent theatre in Azerbaijan ever created. While the theatre activities and plays are expanding, it was renamed to "ADO Theatre-Collective" and has been covering different fields of the art styles in their plays and performances. 

During her presentation at UFAZ, Elsa spoke about the future structure of the UFAZ Drama Club, its format and the time table. Students have introduced themselves and talked about their interests and the reasons why they were joining the Club.

UFAZ Drama Club will be focused on exploring French playwrights and French culture, through theatre, but also video, cinema and music.

The first project of UFAZ Drama Club will be the collective creation of a short performance in the framework of the annual Weeks of Francophonie which will take place on 16th of April in UFAZ.
