On July 22, a meeting with French journalist Alain Roumestand and photographer Gregory Herpe was held at the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) operating under the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University. The meeting was also attended by the President of the Azerbaijan House in Paris, Secretary General of the Association of Friends of Azerbaijan in France Mirvari Fataliyeva.

UFAZ Executive Director Vazeh Askerov informed the guests about the university building, its history and educational conditions. It was noted that UFAZ, established in 2016 at the initiative of the presidents of the two countries, is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year.

Vazeh Askerov informed the guests about the success of UFAZ graduates and the role of the university in the development of academic relations between France and Azerbaijan.
