On October 28, Associate Professor at the University of Oklahoma (USA) Dr. Xingru Wu visited UFAZ.
Prof. Wu and representatives of the Embassy of United States of America to Azerbaijan, Education Specialist Ramina Murshudova and Sofia Dvorak from Public Affairs Section had a meeting with UFAZ management, Executive Director Vazeh Askarov, Secretary General Elizaveta Bydanova, Head of Education Department Latifa Nasibova and Oil and Gas Engineering Program Coordinator Fidan Aslanzada. The guests received comprehensive information about educational programs, laboratories, research opportunities at UFAZ.

Later, Prof. Wu delivered a presentation to UFAZ students on the topic of “Data Mining Subsurface. Data with Dimensional Analysis for specialized professionals in oil and gas upstream”.
