The 11th International Education Exhibition in Azerbaijan was held at Baku Expo Center on 6-8 October 2017 under the motto "Human capital is our wealth". At the exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University and UFAZ stand drew a lot of attention of visitors. Especially the projects of ASOIU “eazi START” Startup and Innovation Center and the small Mind the Lab sample laboratory of UFAZ.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Education Mikail Jabbarov, heads of higher and secondary education institutions and representatives of various educational institutions.

Maryam Sideyifzadeh and Daniil Mikhailov, second-year students of the Chemical Engineering faculty at UFAZ, performed chemistry experiments at the sample Mind The Lab laboratory and presented them to the visitors, including Minister of Education Mikail Jabbarov.

The first-year students of the Faculty of Oil and Gas Engineering (Fuad Rahimli, Mehrali Niftaliyev, Nofel Agayarli, Madat Sardarli and Almaz Omarov) presented their "Stand Off Scanning System" Start Up at the Open Lectorium, specially set up at Expo Center.

The 11th Azerbaijan International Education Exhibition hosted stands of 14 higher education institutions. Universities, colleges, educational institutions and educational centers of Germany, Austria, Belarus, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Russia, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia and other countries were presented at the exhibition.
