On June 7th, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) and Prosol Closed Joint Stock Company signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation. ASOIU Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli, Prosol Chairman of the Board Babek Aghayev, Director of the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) Vazeh Askarov, vice-rectors and faculty of the university attended the ceremony.

Welcoming the guests, Professor Mustafa Babanli stressed that the field of cyber security is currently one of the most important and required fields, and informed the guests about the experience of the university and the personnel training in this direction. He underlined the significance of future cooperation with Prosol to build education in accordance with real market requirements.

Babek Aghayev noted that ASOIU graduates also work among the company's employees, and talked about the importance of a systematic approach to staff training and the great need for cyber security specialists in the international market. "According to the realities of our time, along with the physical borders of the country, there is also a need to protect its virtual borders," he noted.

Later the parties - Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli on behalf of the university and Chairman of the Board Babek Aghayev on behalf of Prosol company - signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation.

The main purpose of this memorandum is to establish successful and fruitful bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest. According to the agreement, the parties will cooperate in teaching and training, implementation of programs and projects, conducting scientific, theoretical and practical research, as well as the involvement of students in internship programs.
