On July 31, Acting Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) Assoc. Prof. Vazeh Askarov had a meeting with Vice President of bp Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli.

Possible cooperation between bp and ASOIU and UFAZ, and issues regarding the implementation of the double diploma program of "Renewable energy sources" between ASOIU and Warwick University has been discussed.

Assoc. Professor Vazeh Askarov provided information about the educational system at ASOIU and UFAZ, and mentioned that  as an educational institution they are interested in cooperation with the company. Assoc. Professor Vazeh Askarov expressed that he hoped for greater success in the implementation of joint educational projects with BP, informed about the implementation status of the dual diploma program of ASOIU with Warwick University and reminded UFAZ as an example, concluding that this project will also be successful.

Vice-President of bp Bakhtiyar Aslanbeyli highlighted that they attach special importance to the implementation of many social projects, including cooperation with ASOIU and other educational institutions. Bakhtiyar Aslanbeyli, gave information about the educational projects of the company, said that they are interested in the implementation of the dual diploma program of ASOIU together with Warwick University, and as a company that supports the development of science and education, and will do their best in this direction.
