Application Deadline and Examination Date for UFAZ Master's Degree extended!

In connection with the Cabinet of Ministers decision on a nationwide special quarantine regime  and the closure of educational institutions until late May, the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) under the Azerbaijan State Oil & Industry University (ASOIU) changed the application deadline and examination date. The deadline for application is now 17 May 2020, while the internal exam is scheduled for 8 June 2020.
In addition, considering the difficulties for obtaining transcripts during the remote operation of universities, the requirement to submit transcripts at the time of application was relaxed: applicants are now allowed to submit until the examination day.

Candidates from Azerbaijani and Russian sectors should provide IELTS 6.5 / 80 TOEFL certificate. Students can submit their language certificate latest by 8 June 2020. 

UFAZ admission exam will take place on 8 June 2020. 

The UFAZ entrance exam is a Multiple Choice Question Exam that includes questions based on the chosen Master specialties:

  1. Chemical engineering / Physical chemistry

  2. Applied Computer Sciences (Big Data and Artificial intelligence)

  3. Geosciences

All 80 admitted students are offered governmental places at UFAZ.

Students who take the UFAZ entrance exam for a Master’s degree program and that are not selected will still have the possibility to apply to other higher educational institutions in Azerbaijan.
