On April 5 2018 UFAZ students had a chance to understand the details about Act In Space international innovation contest to be held in UFAZ on May 25-26 2018. It is the first time this international competition is organized in Baku, Azerbaijan.

UFAZ Secretary General Charlotte Payen together with the project leaders Elsana Babasova and Ganira Nasibova made a presentation about the contest and the hackathon that will take place all over the world on the marked dates. This international hachathon aims at inspiring young women and men around the world to meet real-life challenges by using space technologies and data.

Just to remind you that Act In Space is a competiton initiated in 2017 by the French Space Agency, le CNES, uniting this year in 2018 over 72 cities across 5 continents. By taking part in this contest, you will be taking part in a truly international event bringing together entrepreneurs, students, job seekers, developers and creatives worldwide. 

For 24 hours, registered teams come together to work on real-life challenges alongside business mentors and techincal experts to imagine and design innovative services and products that find every day uses for space technologies or data.

Winner of the national competition in Azerbaijan hosted and organized by UFAZ, will be sent to international final on June 27 in Toulouse.
