A meeting held between UFAZ and YAP Youth Union
On July 9, a meeting on "The modern era of Azerbaijani education: new challenges and prospects" was organized by the Youth Union of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) and the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ). The meeting was attended by the chairman of the YAP Youth Union Bakhtiyar Islamov, deputy chairmen and members of the Board.
Vazeh Askerov, a member of the YAP Board and Executive Director of UFAZ, informed the guests about the educational buildings and laboratories of the University. Mr. Askerov also informed that the French-Azerbaijani University was established as a result of joint initiative and efforts of the presidents of Azerbaijan and France and has modern standards, scientific laboratories and high qualities.
The event, which continued in the conference hall of the university, provided information about the Azerbaijani education system in the twentieth century, as well as educational reforms and the development of science with advanced technologies and the application of achievements in production during the first period of National Leader Heydar Aliyev's leadership. At the same time, the development of the education system in accordance with modern requirements after the independence of Azerbaijan, the successful continuation of the education policy of President Ilham Aliyev and the establishment of higher and secondary educational institutions in the country over the past 17 years were also discussed.
Bakhtiyar Islamov, chairman of the YAP Youth Union, spoke about the party's youth policy, which unites 300,000 young people, and the role of education and innovation in the lives of young people. One of the goals of the organization is to work closely with not only members, but also non-member young people in the field of education.
Afterwards, the rules of admission to UFAZ, the educational process, exams and internship programs, graduates' career opportunities, as well as the role and place of UFAZ in Azerbaijan-France relations were discussed in the meeting. In conclusion, it was stated that such educational visits will continue in the future.
