UFAZ Guest Lectures 2018 / 2019: Dr. Pierre Parrend on "Behaviour Scenario Graphs for Anomaly detection in computational ecosystems"

2019-02-05

EVENT PLACE: UFAZ Small Conference Hall (room 101)

EVENT DATE: Feb. 21, 2019

EVENT TIME: 4:30 p.m.

The traffic of a digital ecosystem can be modeled as a set of graphs representing the interaction between the users, the services and the machines. One expressive way to extract such graphs is to analyze the actual behavior of the ecosystem in the form of log traces: the observed use scenarios are called Concrete Behaviour Scenario Graphs (CBSG). In the case of repetitive scenarios, it is possible to abstract the observed behaviors under the form for Abstract Behaviour Scenario Graphs (ABSG). This talk will present how ABSG are derived from CBSG, and how both can be exploited to identify and prevent anomalies in computational ecosystems.
