The conference aims to present and create a discussion on the key issues of preservation and protection of cultural and architectural heritage and transformation of urban landscapes and identities. In the frame of the conference, experiences and case-studies of European countries on this important topic will be shared with the local key actors of the urban environment. Speakers will present their conclusions and proposals on how preservation of cultural heritage can coexist with the modernization of a city, exchanging best practices between Europe and Azerbaijan.
